NFL Week 9

Thursday saw two sides with just two wins to their name meet, but the Ravens easily got the better of Miami. Coming back from injury, Lamar Jackson was superb, throwing for four TDs and completing 18 of 23 passes. Another quarterback threw four touchdown passes in week nine but despite passing for 470 yards the Bengals’ Joe Flacco ended on the losing side. It was a thriller in Cincinnati, Flacco’s counterpart, Caleb Williams, completing a 58-yard pass with Colston Loveland to secure a 47-42 win for Chicago with just 17 seconds left.

There were wins for the Pats, 49ers and Broncos, while the Jags squeezed past the Raiders in OT, eventually prevailing 30-29 in a game where Cam Little (Jacksonville) broke an NFL record by kicking a field goal from 68 yards in the first half. Having nailed one from 70 in pre-season we knew he had it in him but it was still incredible. He landed another from just shy of 50 to force overtime and his team made the most of it by completing the win. Elsewhere the Seahawks won 38-14 at Washington, maintaining their 100% record on the road.
