We had a classic to get things underway in Week 16, as the Seahawks beat the Rams 38-37 in OT to take control in the NFC West. They trailed by 16 at one stage but hit back and now lead the way with a 12-3 record (LA are 11-4). It was tied at 30 apiece after normal time and the Rams put seven on the board in overtime. However, Seattle hit back to score a touchdown of their own and then made history by becoming the first team ever to win a game in OT with a two-point conversion.
The Eagles beat the Commanders to claim the NFC East, with the Bears coming from behind to beat Green Bay and the Bills edging out the Browns. The Chargers stayed on track for the post-season as they moved to 11-4, while the Jags ended Denver’s amazing 11-match run of wins with a 34-20 success. There were also wins for the Steelers, Texans, Patriots and 49ers, the Pats guaranteeing their playoff spot.
