We saw the regular season reach the two-thirds mark and it was largely more of the same, with wins for the Pats, Seahawks, Rams and 49ers. The latter closed out the week with a win at home against the Panthers, boosting their hopes of a return to the Levi’s Stadium for the Super Bowl.
The Broncos were one of four sides to have a rest in week 12 so watched on as New England won a ninth game in a row to go 10-2, despite having slipped 10 points behind the Bengals in the second quarter. After a low-scoring game in Week 11 the Lions returned to form with a 34-27 success against the Giants, while the Bears won a close clash against Pittsburgh, coming out on top by 31-28.
The Texans upset the Bills 23-19, while there were wins for the Packers, Chiefs and Ravens too. Two struggling teams met in Vegas but the Browns came out on top against the Raiders, while it was a similar picture in New Orleans, with the road team, the Falcons, getting the W.
